My first construction project was built from Lincoln Logs for my Weeble Wobble family. I continued finding my footing through drip-castle design, fort building, go-cart engineering, and oil painting. Early on, it became clear that my path was rooted in designing, building, and painting.

Founded in the Bay Area, I evolved from a focused scenic painting practice into a broader creative studio now operating as Atinsky Sets & Scenic Works. The studio specializes in interior scenic painting, custom prop fabrication, set design, styling, and carpentry—bridging fine art technique with hands-on construction.

Led by Courtney Atinsky, the work is rooted in material exploration, problem-solving, and an understanding of how environments function on camera and in real space. Each project is approached with an emphasis on texture, scale, durability, and visual storytelling—whether building a full set, fabricating custom elements, or transforming existing spaces through paint and surface treatment.

Sets & Scenic Works collaborates with brands, designers, photographers, and production teams to create thoughtful, well-crafted environments that support narrative, mood, and function.
